Last Day of School Award Assembly

So today I went to the Award assembly at the high school, normally I don't go to these but today was a special occasion since Sharlene got a couple of awards. Now I new about the honoral award but the second award was a surprise. Anyways I was surprised she didn't get more since she was always ahead of her classes when it came to not only getting her work turned in on time but she was always getting her homework turned in before the deadline along with being able to memorize her class presentation where as all the other kids had to read from their note cards. Robbie claims it's a favoritism thing meaning the teachers select their favorite students not the one who actually did the work. I also felt pretty bad for a boy that was called for an award but yet came out empty handed. I am guessing they either made an ere in judgment or they forgot to print his award. either way that had to of been pretty embarrassing and I am pretty sure if his family was there they were pretty disappointed in the school for that. I know I would be if they had did that to Sharlene or even my son Christion. Anyways I am definitely one proud mom that is for sure. I'm proud of Sharlene for her achievements and I am proud of Christion for finally getting the help he needed in math and has been improving ever since even if it's only been 3 - 4 weeks since they switched his class.

Unfortunately I had taken the memory card out of my camera to empty and forgot to put it back but luckily I had my iPod fully charged and ready for pictures.
