R.I.P. Gizmo (We Love You)

Although these are picture's taken in 2006 I decided to post them anyways because this is Gizmo, he was my mother-in-laws dog and was run over by speeding car today. I almost wonder if the guy that hit him was aiming for him to teach my nephew a lesson for not putting him on a leash, because he had no remorse for hitting him nor did he say sorry. But either way Gizmo lived a happy life and was 9 1/2 years old when he died. The road we all currently live on have speed limit signs, and if that guy would have been following the community rules and going the speed limit he would have been able to avoid hitting him in the first place. So from now on if I see anyone speeding past the house while i'm outside I will use a blow horn to tell them to slow down.

The one thing I will always miss is the sound of his feet on the floor when he was chasing me out the door and depending on the weather I would turn around and pet him telling him what a good boy he is.
